Shaan Ibrahim
CEO
Shaan Ibrahim leads the company's development sector. He oversees the land acquisition, working closely with the architectural and engineering team. He is responsible for the development of all projects for 3S Hospitality's portfolio on the construction and development side. This includes working closely with the city to get all of the required permits and approvals as well as helping complete a project with full design assistance.
Shaan Ibrahim and his brother Shane fully believe in a strong work ethic and working as a family. They, along with their other partners, have helped establish a great reputation with those that know them and have worked with them.
Shaan has been in the hotel industry for over 13 years. During this time, he has been implemental in developing many projects such as the Aloft Waco Baylor and Fairfield Inn and Suites in Cedar Hill, TX.
Currently, he has expanded his network and is busy developing several projects in Northern California. His roots started In California, where he was raised and graduated college. He earned his degree from UC Davis with a major in Communication and a minor in Economics in 2003.
Shawn Trainum
COO
Shawn Trainum was born into the hotel business. His father, Jim Trainum, began buying and developing hotels in Central Texas starting in 1968. Proudly serving troops at nearby Fort Hood, the largest military installation in the country. Shawn began working at the age of 12 and has worked in every aspect of a hotel, including construction. He graduated Magna Cume Laude from the Hankamer School of Business at Baylor University.
After his father's sudden passing, he developed and opened the TownePlace Suites Killeen by Marriott at the age of 27. He also acted as the GC, completing the hotel in 14 months. This custom designed hotel went on to win Marriott's prestigious Opening Hotel of the Year. In addition, the property also won Hotel of the Year, not once, but two years in a row under his direct management. Since that time it has won numerous Diamond, Gold and Silver awards. He has 20 years of direct management experience and many GM certifications from Marriott.
In addition to operating and developing hotels, he is also a member of Rotary International where he has served on the board, managed the annual fundraiser and is a major donor. He has also served on the board of Killeen Chamber of Commerce and the associated Young Professionals. Currently he is the Chief Operating Officer and oversees operations for all the hotels.
Shane Ibrahim
CFO
Shane Ibrahim has been in the hotel industry for over 15 years and is the financial backbone of the company and also contributes to the operations of the hotel. He works with the financial institutions to secure funding for the projects and also leads the management teams at the hotels. Shane also is a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) which is the highest certification from the American Hotel & Lodging Educational Institute.
Shane and his partners have developed a Fairfield Inn & Suites in Cedar Hill, TX which opened in January 2019 and an Aloft Hotel in Waco, TX which opened in October 2020, across the street from Baylor University. He also currently owns and operates the Sleep Inn and Suites in Killeen, TX and the Motel 6 in Killeen, TX.
Shane also grew up and lived in Santa Rosa, CA for over 20 years and now resides in Dallas, TX. He graduated from University of California Davis with Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Communication.
